Scaling UX maturity through training
Helping over 400 employees across multiple roles build shared UX understanding
I bring UX concepts to life for everyone, regardless of role or background.
Trainings and workshops are hands-on, collaborative, and designed to shift thinking from “UX as a department” to “UX as a shared responsibility.”
12 customized trainings and workshops created
400+ employees trained
Since October of 2024, 80 people were trained on various methods and topics:
100% of learners stated that trainings were effective
77% of learners are likely to recommend the training to a colleague
“[Alex’s] leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in not only fostering a deeper understanding of CX principles but also embedding them into our operational processes to improve service delivery and internal communication.”
The Challenge
In my experience as a UX researcher and leader, a common challenge exists among growing or large organizations: teams are often passionate about creating great products, but there's a limited understanding of the current user experience across the organization. This can manifest as oversimplified or misinformed views of customers, or valuable insights that, without a shared foundation in UX principles, don't always translate into better experiences.
This gap presents an opportunity to align teams around a unified understanding of UX. Rather than viewing it as a specialized function, I aim to embed it as a shared mindset across the organization.
To achieve this, I design and lead custom workshops and training sessions that introduce core UX concepts, clarify research and design processes, and demonstrate how everyone’s work impacts the customer experience.
These sessions foster better collaboration, empathy, and decision-making by creating a more actionable understanding of our users. Teams begin to ask more insightful questions, see new connections, and align around a human-centered understanding of users.
The result is a more connected organization, capable of making faster, more confident, data-driven decisions.
In this upcoming case study, I’ll share examples of the trainings and workshops I’ve developed and the positive changes they sparked across teams. Stay tuned!
